Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devonte Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devonte Harris!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace feints and as Harris raises his hands in defense, Wallace changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wallace working some strikes from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wallace is one step ahead there.
Wallace stands up over Harris, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Wallace trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.
Harris keeping full guard, as Wallace tries to pass.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wallace wants to stand but Harris is controlling his posture from full guard.
Wallace prevents Harris from getting back to his feet.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wallace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Harris not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wallace working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Harris's head.
Wallace looking to sit in guard and control but Harris gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wallace wants to stand up but Harris is controlling him.

Harris gets to his feet. Wallace looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Harris on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Wallace goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wallace throws a series of strikes that have Harris backpedaling.
Harris tries for a takedown but Wallace circles away easily
and Wallace counters with a series of strikes. Harris will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wallace throws a head kick that misses.
Wallace moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Harris is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Wallace tries to keep at a distance but Harris has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wallace lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Harris misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Wallace.
Wallace is trying to drag Harris to the mat but Harris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Harris's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wallace lands a left hand.

Wallace is trying to trip Harris. He has hold of a leg but Harris is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wallace persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wallace lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Wallace passes into half guard.
Wallace frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

BOOM! Wallace connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wallace lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wallace scoring with strikes but Harris is staying in there.
Wallace throws some wild stikes that Harris manages to avoid easily.
Wallace throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Harris because Wallace loaded up on that one.
Harris takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Harris wants to hold on but Wallace pushes him away.
Wallace trying to control but Harris is having none of it.

Wallace moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Harris has worked his arm free - good work by Harris!

Wallace thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wallace wants to stand but Harris has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harris is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wallace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Harris is looking for a sweep.
Wallace wants to stand but Harris has his arm trapped.
Wallace lands some shots froms side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wallace looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.

Wallace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Harris pulls guard effortlessly.

Wallace postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Harris is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wallace, into his guard.


Harris stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Wallace looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.
Wallace stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wallace wants it to stay on the feet.
Wallace swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris.

Wallace clinches.
Wallace lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Wallace manages to break the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harris shoots for a takedown but Wallace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ryan Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devonte Harris.
Harris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ryan Wallace is winning the standup battle so far.
Wallace lands a nice leg kick that just misses Harris's sensitive parts.
Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wallace sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat.

Harris tries to pull guard but Wallace holds him up against the cage and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.
Harris goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wallace prevents it.

Wallace has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Harris regains guard immediately.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harris is staying active underneath Wallace, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wallace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Harris is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wallace lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Harris down.

Wallace wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harris, who protects the arm well.

Wallace goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Harris has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wallace but great work by Harris.

Wallace is working to avoid the ground and pound but Harris connects with a decent elbow.
Wallace is trying to improve his position.
Wallace pushes Harris away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Harris gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Wallace looks like he's trying to stand up.
Harris seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Wallace is trying to escape back to his feet but Harris uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Wallace is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Harris is controlling him well.

Harris decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wallace to his feet.
Devonte Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Wallace has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
