The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telheiras swats away the attempt to clinch by Hudson.
Telheiras feints the counter takedown.

Telheiras drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Telheiras thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hudson struggling a bit here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hudson tries to bench press Telheiras off him but Telheiras keeps the position.

Telheiras throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hudson works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Hudson is refusing to be controlled, as Telheiras sits in half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Telheiras is looking to take a break and control but Hudson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hudson regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Telheiras.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
