The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieira lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Chris White has been cut.
No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
White keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
White connects with a body shot.
White walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vieira paws at him with a jab and circles away.
An inside leg kick from White misses.
As White tries to get set, Vieira tries to push him back and clinch up but White manages to avoid the attempt.
Vieira moves out of range of the body kick from White.
White misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vieira wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Vieira scores with a crisp jab that stopped White in his tracks.

That has opened up Chris White's cut even more.
Vieira throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

White is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vieira moves out of range of the body kick.

Vieira fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
White throws a series of strikes that have Vieira backpedaling.
Vieira thuds a left hand into White's body.

Vieira misses with a wild combination.
White shoots in and drives through. Vieira sprawls well.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vieira, as that shot connected.

White looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The cut above Chris White's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
White moves in looking to clinch but Vieira pushes him off.
White seems to have recovered his senses.
Vieira just misses with a punch to the body.

White defending well as Vieira loads up on a big left hand.
Vieira throws a body shot but no joy.
Vieira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White.
White moves forwards but Vieira connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Vieira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
White tries to get into range but Vieira steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops White! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Vieira scores the big KO victory!

Eduardo Vieira decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
