The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez misses with an uppercut
and Weight counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Miguel Fernandez has been cut.
Fernandez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Weight seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fernandez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Fernandez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Weight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Weight cracks Fernandez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Weight has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fernandez to stand back up!

Weight lands a big right hand that sends Fernandez crashing to the mat! Weight stays standing though and waves Fernandez back to his feet!
