The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pierda moves away.
Pierda uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gay.
Gay scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Gay loads up on a big right hand but Pierda slips the punch.
Pierda throws out a loose jab but Gay uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gay connects with a looping right hand.

Gay moves out of range as Pierda strikes.
Gay's corner calls for a 1-2. Gay obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pierda cracks Gay with a good jab.

Gay is rocked!
Pierda ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Gay's jaw. Gay's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Pierda does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
