The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Punch tries to avoid it but Bolt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Punch to the ground. Punch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Punch rushes Bolt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bolt tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Punch just stands there and leans against the cage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Bolt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Punch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bolt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bolt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Punch pinned against the cage. Punch gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Punch closes the distance and pushes Bolt back into the cage.

Bolt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Punch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bolt eats them both and turns towards Punch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Punch scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Punch jabs Bolt to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bolt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Punch cracks a nice hook into Bolt's ribs.
Punch looks for the body kick but Bolt saw that one coming.
Bolt throws a big counter combination but Punch scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Punch lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Punch drops Bolt with a beautiful combination! Bolt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Punch is looking for the KO!
Oh Bolt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Punch plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Bolt swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Bolt face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
