Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy moves away from the strike by Perkins.
Boy swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Boy slips under a jab.
Boy half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Perkins thows a leg kick but Boy checks it
and Boy counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Perkins shoots and misses
and Boy counters with a stiff right hand.
Perkins misses with a takedown attempt - Boy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Boy is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fat Boy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slim Perkins.

Perkins closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boy quickly recovers to half guard.

Perkins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perkins working over Boy with some ground and pound. Boy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perkins connects with a nice short shot to Boy's temple.
Boy tries to roll over but Perkins keeps him under control.
Perkins is nestled in close to Boy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Boy is trying to maintain the position but Perkins is very close to passing his half guard.

Perkins stops Boy from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Slim Perkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perkins darts in looking for a takedown but Boy gets double underhooks and turns Perkins into the cage.
Perkins shoots in for a takedown but Boy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Perkins with that takedown attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Fat Boy will probably get the nod.
