Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Magnum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Connolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnum kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I am Stronger. Connolly is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sun Kil Moon - Alesund. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Connolly clinches up against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Magnum obliges.

Magnum breaks the clinch.
Connolly shoots in looking for a takedown but Magnum manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Connolly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Magnum misses with the combination.

Magnum gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magnum cracks Connolly with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Magnum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Connolly on the ground.

Magnum goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Connolly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Magnum but great work by Connolly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Connolly has an Americana. Magnum didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Connolly is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Connolly hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
