Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oori Kan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braga's entrance music is Snake Pond. A fine choice. Oori Kan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga avoids the body shot from Kan.
Braga is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kan.
Kan throws a body shot but no joy.
Braga seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kan misses with a wild body shot.
A slow jab from Kan misses its intended target.
Kan loads up on a big right hand but Braga slips the punch.
Kan lands with a right hand.
Kan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Braga throws a leg kick
and Kan counters with a nice uppercut.
Braga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kan misses the shot to the body.
Oori Kan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Kan. Those never looked like landing.
Braga seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Braga rather than just go for the knockout.
Kan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Braga tries to counter by clinching up but Kan breaks away and moves out of range.

Kan misses with an uppercut.
Braga fails in his attempt to clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kan! But no joy.
Kan loads up on a big right hand but Braga slips the punch.

Kan scores with a jab to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kan. Braga does a little dance to reset his feet.

Braga closes the distance and pushes Kan back into the cage.

Braga is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Kan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Braga is adopting a defensive guard.
Kan tries to stand but Braga is controlling from the bottom.

Kan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Braga to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Braga pulls down on the head and he's put Kan to sleep! This one is all over!
