The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein throws a poor cross that misses
and DeBaar counters with a nice uppercut.
Stein takes a swing at DeBaar's ribcage but misses.
It looked like DeBaar was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Stein.
Stein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by DeBaar.
Stein looks like he wants to counter punch here.
DeBaar jabs Stein to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Stein throws an off balance right hand
and DeBaar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Stein feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeBaar sprawling to the canvas! DeBaar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stein finish him?!

It looks like Owen DeBaar has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stein drops DeBaar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but DeBaar looks back up at him and smiles so Stein waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Oh DeBaar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether DeBaar might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Stein lunges in with a left hook that violently twists DeBaar head around and knocks him out cold! Stein hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
