Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Ash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 3, fighting out of New York, Adam Ash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manny Stone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ash moves to clinch but Stone breaks away

and Stone counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ash wants to control but Stone is keeping busy.
Stone wants to take a breather but Ash is having none of it.
Ash blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stone.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stone is trying to work for a kimura but Ash is defending well.
Stone throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Ash is defending against the submission attempts here by Stone.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stone is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ash defends it well.

Adam Ash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ash, as that shot connected.

Nice uppercut there from Ash.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ash lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stone has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stone and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Ash throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stone counters with a straight right hand.
Ash fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ash is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stone changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Ash throws a right and a left that Stone avoids nicely.
Stone on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ash blocks a jab.
Ash looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
A bone on bone clash there as Ash blocks the leg kick.

and Stone counters by clinching up.

I was talking to Ash's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Nice body punch from Stone - that landed with a thud.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A nice right hand lands inside from Ash.

Stone can't find room to land a body shot as Ash controls the action.
Stone tries to throw a body punch but Ash avoids it by throwing Stone back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ash creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Stone is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ash is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Adam Ash will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ash throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stone.

Stone tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ash's elbow.
Ash has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stone after a bit of a struggle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ash shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Ash is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stone is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stone has escaped and now he's on top!

Stone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ash does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ash swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And Stone tries to counter it with a takedown but Ash pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Stone lands with a nice body punch.
Ash throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Adam Ash has been cut.

Ash closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Stone pushes Ash back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ash has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Stone is trying to keep an underhook but Ash manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Stone wants to control but Ash is keeping busy.

Ash looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Stone is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Ash is staying active.
Stone is staying active underneath Ash, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ash uses his free foot to push down on Stone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stone.
Ash thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Stone is trying desperately to improve position.
Ash fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ash connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Ash has hold of Stone's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stone manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Stone is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ash pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Ash is landing with some decent strikes but Stone is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ash cracks Stone with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Adam Ash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Stone wants to hold on but Ash pushes him away.

Well Ash has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
