The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tower is looking to slow Pedro down with leg kicks.

Pedro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tower, pushing him back against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Tower tries to pull guard but Pedro won't allow it.
Tower is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pedro is keeping busy.
Tower is trying to break the clinch but Pedro is controlling him.
Tower tries to pull guard but Pedro forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Curtis Pedro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iain Tower.
Pedro tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tower avoids it.
Tower tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pedro smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pedro tries to land a front kick but Tower steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Tower follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Tower wants to break free but Pedro has control.

Pedro breaks from the clinch.
Pedro slips a straight right by Tower.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pedro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tower moves away.
Pedro throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pedro backing away here, and Tower unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Tower gets caught napping as Pedro dives in and scores a takedown. Tower manages to retain guard.

Tower looking for a guillotine here but Pedro defends easily.
Tower looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tower pulls Pedro in close to his closed guard and prevents Pedro from doing any damage or advancing position.
Tower is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Tower is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Pedro frees his head nicely. Oh but Tower has switched to an armbar! Pedro is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
