PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moshe Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kord Valker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valker has chosen Ain't Nothing Wrong With That as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kord Valker enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valker shoots in but Arnold avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Valker fails with the takedown.

Valker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Valker content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Arnold is trying to control Valker's posture but Valker avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Valker wants to pass to mount but Arnold is defending the position.

Valker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Arnold tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Valker is in Arnold's guard.
Arnold wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Valker manages to pass to side control.

Valker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Arnold is looking to improve his position but Valker isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Arnold has given up his back here.
Valker is hanging on to Arnold's back as he tries to escape.

Arnold is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
It looks like Valker might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Valker is continuing to stall.

Valker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arnold sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
As Valker tries to get set, Arnold tries to push him back and clinch up but Valker manages to avoid the attempt.
Valker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Valker shoots in looking for a takedown. Arnold tries to sprawl out of it but Valker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Arnold manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Arnold stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Valker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Valker is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Arnold scores with a couple of nice shots.
