The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Caspian Waters has been cut.
A leg kick checked by Levert.
Levert jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Levert scores with a head kick. Waters tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Levert misses with a kick to the body

and Waters counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Levert looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Waters pushes past his half guard into mount!
Levert is trying to escape the mount.

Waters is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Levert is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Levert flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Waters anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Levert and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Waters slips an arm under Levert chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Waters has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Waters is squeezing on Levert like an anaconda would it's prey. Levert fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
