Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bum Leif (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leif comes to the cage accompanied by Because I got high. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leif scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Leif sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sanchez wants to clinch up but Leif keeps it at a distance.

Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Leif, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Leif against the cage but Leif circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bum Leif has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Sanchez.

As Sanchez looks to move away, Leif throws a big counter combo but Sanchez just gets out of the way.
Sanchez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tommy Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leif looks to land a combination but Sanchez avoids it well.

Leif lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Leif connects with a body shot that sends Sanchez's belly button to the back.
Leif rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Leif blocks a head kick by Sanchez.
Leif is looking to wear down Sanchez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Sanchez forces Leif back against the cage and clinches.

Sanchez controls Leif momentarily but Leif frees himself.
Leif trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Sanchez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Leif throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanchez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Leif trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sanchez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
