Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Tonin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akuma Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tanaka's choice of entrance music: Akuma's Theme. Akuma Tanaka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka moves into the clinch.
Tanaka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tanaka is looking for a takedown.
Tonin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tanaka gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tonin lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Tonin performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Tanaka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tonin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tonin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
