Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mack Branco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taiga Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Branco's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stranglehold. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mack Branco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taiga Jim!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branco fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jim ducks under a wild hook from Branco.
Jim takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jim jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nice defenses there by Jim.
Good standup being displayed there by Jim as he connects with a hook.
Jim shoots in and drives through. Branco sprawls well.
Jim throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Branco has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Branco gets caught flat footed, as Jim shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Branco manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jim manages to get himself to full guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Branco's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Jim wants to sweep here but Branco controlling him for the moment.

Jim lands a nice hook to Branco's body. Branco takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Branco moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Jim checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Branco has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jim finds it's way round the side to connect with Branco's head.

Jim bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Branco's head.

Jim closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Branco to the mat! Branco manages to get full guard.
Jim is looking to work some ground and pound but Branco has wrist control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Taiga Jim dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jim drops his hands momentarily and Branco takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jim checks a leg kick.

Branco clobbers Jim with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Jim changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Branco can't do much from the bottom here.
Jim wants to take a breather but Branco manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Jim.

Branco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jim is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are battling for position here. Branco manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jim throws an elbow that misses. Branco uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jim's guard. Nice move by Branco!

Branco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jim has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Branco to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jim is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Branco pulls down on the head and he's put Jim to sleep! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Mack Branco started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
