Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bull Hurley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samson Goldstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bull Hurley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bull Hurley seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goldstein lands with a nice body punch.
Goldstein has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Hurley is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Hurley punishes Goldstein's body with a nice straight punch.

Goldstein ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hurley leaves Goldstein with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Goldstein shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Goldstein was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hurley bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Goldstein, as that shot connected.
Hurley tries to move into range but Goldstein moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hurley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hurley takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Hurley dominated that round.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Goldstein is looking to slow Hurley down with leg kicks.

Hurley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goldstein manages to avoid it.

Hurley pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hurley chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Goldstein can pounce on him.

Hurley changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Goldstein throws a series of strikes that have Hurley backpedaling.
Goldstein moves out of range of the body kick.
And Goldstein tries to counter it with a takedown but Hurley pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Goldstein crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hurley - the referee stops the clock and Goldstein gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hurley. Goldstein manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Hurley attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Hurley throws a body shot but no joy.
Goldstein throws the kick towards the body but Hurley avoids it.

and Hurley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Goldstein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hurley.

Hurley keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goldstein is trying to control the action in half guard but Hurley is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Goldstein feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hurleys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hurley lands with a kick to the ribs.
Goldstein takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Goldstein swings widly with a right hand
and Hurley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hurley looks for the body kick but Goldstein saw that one coming.
Hurley lands a hook that stumbles Goldstein back into the cage. Hurley follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Goldstein to the canvas! Hurley pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Goldstein has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
