Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kajun Puno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monte Zuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puno comes into the arena with デッドマンズ銃 blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Zuma wants to clinch.
Zuma throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
It looked like Puno was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zuma looks to throw the jab but Puno is out of range.
Zuma scores with a sloppy right hand. Puno should have avoided that one.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Puno might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Puno is trying to maintain the position but Zuma is very close to passing his half guard.
Zuma takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Zuma is looking to take a break and control but Puno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Zuma pushes Puno away with a front kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
