Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Power!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mitchell counters with a straight right hand.
Mitchell misses with a body shot
and Power counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mitchell thinking.
Mitchell connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Power momentarily.
Power throws a hook but Mitchell blocks it.
Mitchell throws a leg kick
and Power counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mitchell!
Power lands a nice forearm strike.
Power in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Power has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Power has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mitchell is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Power yanks on the arm and Mitchell is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Power.
