The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dio has a takedown stuffed.
Dio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kruger defends it nicely.
It looked like Kruger was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dio.

and Kruger counters with a nice right hand that sends Dio toppling to the canvas! Dio scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kruger finish him?!

It looks like John Dio has been cut.
Roman Kruger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dio.
