Malenczuk ducks right into an uppercut from Face.
Face tests Malenczuk's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Malenczuk steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Face.

Malenczuk unleashes a big counter combination but Face bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Malenczuk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Damian Malenczuk has been cut.
Face misses with a straight right.
Face throws a looping overhand right but Malenczuk ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malenczuk uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Face.

Face looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Malenczuk gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Malenczuk tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Face is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Malenczuk buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Malenczuk!! Malenczuk is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Face throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
