Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reyn Godrigueze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eigi Takagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takagi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome to the Jungle. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eigi Takagi!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godrigueze closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Godrigueze blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Godrigueze makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Godrigueze.
Takagi pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Godrigueze looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Takagi working for a triangle but Godrigueze defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Godrigueze postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Takagi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Godrigueze gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Godrigueze makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Godrigueze postures up in Takagi's guard and throws a big left but Takagi blocks it.
Godrigueze working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Takagi has his feet on Godrigueze's thighs here. He's pushed Godrigueze off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Godrigueze screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
