Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Lichen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Motts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Motts's coach down at Fight Factory was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Motts's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Lichen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Motts's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lichen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Motts scrambles back to his feet.

Lichen loads up on a big right hand but Motts slips the punch.
It seemed like Motts was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Lichen is pressed up against the cage. Motts has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lichen down to the mat. Lichen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
