The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallstrom tries to bum rush Peavris with a series of wild strikes but Peavris uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A shot to the body from Wallstrom misses
and Peavris counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wallstrom throws a shot from downtown. Peavris moves away and avoids it.
Wallstrom has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Peavris misses with a takedown attempt - Wallstrom sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Peavris wants to control but Wallstrom is keeping him busy.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Wallstrom lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Peavris looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Wallstrom has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Wallstrom drops Peavris onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Peavris is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!

The fighters are playing wrist control here with Peavris pressed against the ropes. Wallstrom frees himself up and cracks Peavris with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Peavris crumples to the floor, out cold! Wallstrom jumps on to the ropes and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
