Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andy Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Griffin McElroy!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McElroy is looking to clinch but Jr is avoiding it.
Jr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McElroy tries to avoid it but Jr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McElroy to the ground. McElroy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andy Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McElroy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jr moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McElroy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jr looks for a takedown but McElroy sprawls well.
McElroy throws out a counter right but Jr avoids it with no problem.

Jr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jr showed some decent athleticism there.
McElroy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jr wants to take a breather but McElroy is having none of it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jr connects with a nice short shot to McElroy's temple.

McElroy is staying active underneath Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jr lands a nice short elbow.
Jr lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked McElroy! More strikes land and this one is all over! Jr jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
