The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeBaar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

DeBaar drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - DeBaar is looking for the KO!

It looks like Donnie Jones has been cut.
DeBaar tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Owen DeBaar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones avoids the body shot from DeBaar.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

DeBaar misses with a looping left.
Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps DeBaar's head backwards.
DeBaar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Jones counters with a nice right hand that sends DeBaar toppling to the canvas! DeBaar scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jones finish him?!

DeBaar changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DeBaar was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
DeBaar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Jones on the side of the head.
DeBaar moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.

DeBaar throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jones connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed DeBaar momentarily.

DeBaar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Jones feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends DeBaar sprawling to the canvas! DeBaar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jones finish him?!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jones throws out a counter right but DeBaar avoids it with no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones cracks DeBaar with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning DeBaar to stand back up!
Oh DeBaar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
