Makinwa works Thompson's body with a nice hook.

Thompson feints and then cracks Makinwa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Makinwa down.

Thompson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Makinwa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Thompson throws a lazy right hand but Makinwa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Thompson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Makinwa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A slow jab from Thompson misses its intended target.
Makinwa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Thompson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Makinwa is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Makinwa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Makinwa lands a nice shot to the body.

Makinwa catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Thompson stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Thompson walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Thompson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Makinwa connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Thompson onto his butt! Thompson bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Oh Thompson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thompson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thompson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Makinwa plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Thompson to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Thompson just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
