And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Coxall!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Jokinen. That's going to slow Coxall down.
Coxall tries for a takedown but Jokinen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jokinen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Jokinen lands with an uppercut that bounces Coxall off the cage and back into range.
Coxall connects with a right hand. Jokinen shakes it off.
Jokinen lands with a cross.
Coxall defending well as Jokinen loads up on a big left hand.
Jokinen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coxall defends it nicely.
Coxall has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jokinen scoring well with a low kick there.
Jokinen looks to throw the jab but Coxall is out of range.
Coxall looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Jokinen misses with a body shot.

Coxall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jokinen is trying to get back to full guard.
Coxall wants to control but Jokinen is keeping him busy.

Jokinen manages to get to full guard.
Coxall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Coxall has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jokinen is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Jokinen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Coxall has his hands clasped together but Jokinen extends and breaks Coxall's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jokinen.
