Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Pápai Joci - Origo. Ein Stein has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brady Burns's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brady Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ein Stein!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Burns moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Burns is looking to land body kicks.
Stein with the counter takedown but Burns avoids it easily.
Burns comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Burns looks for the body kick but Stein saw that one coming.
Stein looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Burns throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stein on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Burns misses with a body shot.
Stein takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Stein moves out of range as Burns strikes.
Stein drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Burns misses with a body shot.
Stein throws out a counter right but Burns avoids it with no problem.
Burns lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Stein slips under a jab from Burns.

Stein moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burns tries to land knees in the clinch but Stein avoids the damage to the body.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Burns.
Stein effectively controlling the action here.
Stein's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Stein is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Burns pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Stein holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Stein displaying some good clinch control by pressing Burns up against the cage.
Stein receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Burns working Stein over with knees to the body.
Burns misses with a short punch on the inside.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Burns tries a knee to the head but Stein blocks it.
Stein is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Burns to keep the fight standing.
Stein takes a shot to the head.
Burns throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stein blocks it with crossed arms.
Burns with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Stein stalling in the clinch but Burns improves position.

Stein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burns moves out of range as Stein strikes.
Burns throws a nice inside leg kick.
Burns looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Burns lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Burns misses with a low kick.
Burns misses with an uppercut. Stein saw that one coming.
Stein throws a big counter head kick but Burns avoids it with no problem.
Burns lands with a straight right. Stein didn't see that one coming.
Burns scores with a hook to the body. Stein takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Stein takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Stein has his takedown stuffed
letting Burns counter with a right hand.
Brady Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ein Stein.
Stein takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Burns pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stein is out of range and Burns settles back down.
Stein moves away from the strike by Burns.
Stein on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stein lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Stein throws a big shot that misses.
Burns lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stein's sensitive parts.
Burns is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Burns moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Burns lands an overhand right.
Stein shoots and misses
and Burns counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burns. Stein does a little dance to reset his feet.
Burns uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stein has time to react.
Stein takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Stein changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Burns throws a body shot but no joy.
Burns looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stein pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Burns is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Burns cracks the inside of Stein's front leg.
Burns thuds a left hand into Stein's body.
A slow jab from Burns misses its intended target.
Burns throws a body shot but no joy.
And Stein tries to counter it with a takedown but Burns pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Burns lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Stein's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Burns.
Brady Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns fails to land with a series of punches.
Stein throws out a counter right but Burns avoids it with no problem.
Stein sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Burns misses with a wild combination.
Burns just misses with a punch to the body.
Stein lands an overhand right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brady Burns dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Stein takes one to the chin there.
Stein looks to score with a jab to the body but Burns is just out of range.
Burns feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Burns jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Burns connects with the punch.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Burns.
Nice takedown defense from Burns. No joy for Stein on that attempt.
Stein goes for a double leg but Burns avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Burns continues to drive forward.
Stein doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brady Burns is winning the standup battle so far.
Burns missing with a left hand there. Stein was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Burns is predictable there

so Stein counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stein throws a big right hand that misses.
Stein postures up in Burns's guard and throws a big left but Burns blocks it.
Stein throwing strikes but missing.
Stein controls from within his opponent's guard.

Burns has Stein pulled in close to control his posture.
Stein is looking to pass into half guard but Burns pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Burns is in guard.

Burns is pushing down on Stein's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stein is fighting to maintain full guard but Burns has managed to sneak the leg through.

Burns is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Stein is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
