Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taisto Murkula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamish Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murkula comes to the cage accompanied by Forever Angel. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Murkula jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reid walks away with a smile on his face. Murkula gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Murkula counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Reid thinking.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I think Reid has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
