Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Egor Sviridov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sviridov comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. Egor Sviridov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Slater!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sviridov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Slater sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sviridov somewhat.
Slater throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sviridov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sviridov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Slater avoids it really well and circles away.
A slow jab from Slater misses its intended target.
Nice defenses there by Sviridov.
Slater cracks Sviridov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Good shot there by Slater.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slater swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sviridov.
Slater lands a nice shot that snaps Sviridov's head back.
Slater scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Slater swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slater lands a lovely overhand right.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slater cracks Sviridov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Slater has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sviridov to stand back up!

and Slater counters with a huge left! Sviridov is in big trouble! He's backing up but Slater isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sviridov from any more damage. A dominating finish by Slater!
