Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul DeSantis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlkomir Jahoda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jahoda manages to get an easy takedown there - catching DeSantis on his heels. He'll look to pass DeSantis's guard now, I'm sure.

It looks like Jahoda might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from DeSantis enables Jahoda to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. DeSantis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul DeSantis.
