The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laul takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Laul closes the distance looking to clinch
and Koistinen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Koistinen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Laul.
Koistinen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Laul on the side of the head.
Laul takes a jab right on the kisser.
Laul's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Koistinen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Laul scrambles back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Laul looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Koistinen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Laul misses with a double jab.

Koistinen catches Laul with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Koistinen clobbers Laul with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Koistinen cracks Laul with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Laul is trying desperately to land a takedown but Koistinen is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Laul.
