Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Auld Bawls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucio Francisco Carmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bawls comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Big Balls. Carmo has chosen Rolling Stones - Paint it, Black as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lucio Francisco Carmo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Auld Bawls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucio Francisco Carmo!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Francis DeMontford and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bawls throws a series of punches but Carmo moves out of range.
Bawls throws a combination that misses

so Carmo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Carmo has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tayne's 4d3d3d3 Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bawls lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Carmo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bawls's guard.

Bawls is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carmo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carmo's back!
I really don't envy Carmo right now.

Bawls really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bawls is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carmo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bawls goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Carmo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bawls but great work by Carmo.

Bawls looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bawls closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Bawls misses with a wild combination.
Carmo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Bawls fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Carmo to the ground. Bawls is now in Carmo's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Carmo holds on and takes a little breather.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bawls will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Auld Bawls overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bawls lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carmo circles away quickly and effectively.

Carmo moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bawls has worked his arm free - good work by Bawls!
