The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

St Hype instigates a clinch.
St Hype keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Varga's efforts to push away.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, St Hype creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Varga has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Varga is trying to push St Hype away but St Hype has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
St Hype lands an uppercut.
St Hype pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
