Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Delbert Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adanis Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adanis Storm will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Delbert Hines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adanis Storm!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Donatello Bradman and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Storm lands a front kick.
Hines really is a fat lump.

Hines rushes Storm and presses him up against the cage.

Hines jumps guard.
Hines is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Storm in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hines had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Storm defends it easily.
Storm controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Storm stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hines swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Storm content to stall in guard here.
Hines might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but Hines is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Storm misses with a body shot.

Storm feints and as Hines raises his hands in defense, Storm changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Storm gets to his feet - Hines follows without any prompting.
Hines moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Storm changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hines looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Storm controls the position.

Storm clinches up with Hines and pushes him back against the cage.

Storm gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hines regains guard.

Let's hope that Storm has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hines gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Storm to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Storm sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hines's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Storm thumps Hines with a low kick.
Adanis Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hines walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Storm shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hines is trying to defend but Storm finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Storm is looking for a kimura but Hines is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Storm to get the leverage.
Storm works his foot free and advances to mount.
Storm has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Storm throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Hines tries to lock up and control but Storm gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Storm postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hines looks a forlorn figure.

Storm with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Storm goes for an armbar but Hines turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hines.
Adanis Storm has got the better of the ground game so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hines won't allow Storm to get back to his feet.

Hines has gone for a leg lock! Storm slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hines's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Storm is pushing down on Hines's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hines is fighting to maintain full guard but Storm has managed to sneak the leg through.
Storm wants to pass to mount but Hines is defending the position.
Hines is controlling Storm's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Storm wants to take a breather but Hines is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adanis Storm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Storm thows a huge punch but Hines dodges it nicely.

Adanis Storm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Storm has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
