Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roman Leonitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Lassiter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lassiter checks a low kick from Leonitis .
Lassiter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lassiter lands a jab.
Leonitis connects with a jab.

It looks like Slade Lassiter has been cut.
A big right from Leonitis misses.
Lassiter slips a jab from Leonitis .
Lassiter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A nice leg kick lands there from Leonitis .
Leonitis has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight.
Leonitis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lassiter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Leonitis throws a leg kick but Lassiter sees it coming and moves out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Lassiter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leonitis tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
An inside leg kick from Leonitis misses.
Leonitis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Lassiter scoring well with a low kick there.
Leonitis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Leonitis takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Leonitis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lassiter.
Leonitis walks into a straight right hand from Lassiter.
Lassiter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lassiter lands with a kick to the ribs.
Leonitis is breathing heavily.
Leonitis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lassiter. Lassiter obviously looking to wear him down.
Leonitis just misses with a punch to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lassiter.
Lassiter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leonitis .
Lassiter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Leonitis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lassiter thows a left - swing and a miss!

Lassiter drops Leonitis with a beautiful combination! Leonitis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lassiter is looking for the KO!
Leonitis misses the shot to the body.
Lassiter cracks the inside of Leonitis 's front leg.
Leonitis wants to land a leg kick but Lassiter is out of range.

Leonitis misses with a right hand

and Lassiter counters with a crisp right hand that drops Leonitis ! Lassiter lets Leonitis back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Leonitis is rocked!
Leonitis looks to throw a body kick
and Lassiter scores with a counter punch that sends Leonitis to the canvas! Lassiter smells blood - he's punishing Leonitis with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Leonitis has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slade Lassiter!
Slade Lassiter was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
