The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crawley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miroslav momentarily.
A punch lands to the side of Miroslav 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Miroslav looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice body punch from Crawley.
Miroslav throws a head kick that misses
and Crawley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Miroslav throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miroslav showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Crawley.
And Miroslav tries to counter it with a takedown but Crawley pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Crawley tries to clinch up but Miroslav circles away and keeps his distance.
Miroslav throws a right hand that Crawley ducks under and follows up with a left that Crawley also avoids with ease.
Crawley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Crawley scoring well with a low kick there.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Miroslav tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crawley smiles and moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miroslav shoots for a double leg takedown but Crawley sprawls well. He's pushed Miroslav's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looked like Crawley wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Miroslav takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Paul Crawley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Crawley. Miroslav does a little dance to reset his feet.
Miroslav drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Crawley defends it well.

Miroslav tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Crawley defends well and Miroslav ends up having to push Crawley into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
We've been told by Crawley's head coaches at AK Beasties that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Miroslav tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Crawley. That snapped Miroslav's head back.
Miroslav closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crawley circles away.
Crawley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Crawley lands with an uppercut that bounces Miroslav off the cage and back into range.
