Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Silvestre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Squiggy Squirrelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squirrelly takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Squirrelly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Squirrelly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Silvestre missing with a left hand there. Squirrelly was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Squirrelly lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Silvestre wants to clinch up but Squirrelly keeps it at a distance.

Squirrelly lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Silvestre.
I think Squirrelly has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
