Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Lowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atli Thor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atli Thor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowe blocks a head kick by Thor.
Lowe swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Thor throws a nice inside leg kick.
A jab from Thor misses.

Lowe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lowe scores with a nice hook to the head.

It looks like Atli Thor has been cut.
Lowe tries to work over Thor's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Thor.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Thor creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Thor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thor throws a sloppy head kick and Lowe moves out of range easily.
Sloppy strikes from Thor. Those never looked like landing.
Lowe checks a leg kick.
Thor misses with a looping right.
Atli Thor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thor misses with a hook. Lowe ducked under it nicely.
Lowe finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Lowe lands a big head kick that sends Thor tumbling to the mat! Lowe takes a step backwards and waves Thor back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Thor is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thor avoids the head kick by Lowe.
Thor is still on wobbly legs! Can Lowe finish him?
Thor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lowe was well out of range. Poor timing from Thor.
Lowe seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lowe throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Thor walks straight into a right hand from Lowe - that's dropped him! Lowe jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Thor from any more punishment! Thor complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Curtis Lowe!
