The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scandinavian misses with a few strikes there.
Scandinavian closes the distance and clinches.
Scandinavian lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Hai Hicks has been cut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hicks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hicks blocks the elbow strike.
Scandinavian has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hicks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hicks tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Hicks is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Scandinavian jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hicks is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hicks and Scandinavian has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Scandinavian creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
What's Hicks going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hicks tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Scandinavian lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hicks is looking to get to half guard.
Scandinavian unloading with bombs!

Scandinavian avoids the attempt from Hicks to control.
Scandinavian tries to control but Hicks wriggling away.
Hicks is working to get back to half guard.
Scandinavian postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hicks looks a forlorn figure.
Scandinavian is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Hicks is trying to escape the mount.
Hicks tries to hold on but Scandinavian pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scandinavian working for a submission but Hicks is keeping him at bay.
Scandinavian is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hicks is forced to tap! Great finish!
