Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kushida clinches up with Richmond and pushes him back against the cage.
Richmond really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Richmond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kushida misses with a right hand
and Richmond counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Richmond.
A frustrated look appears on Richmond's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Richmond tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Richmond tries to circle away but Kushida has him pinned against the cage.
Richmond dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Richmond is trying to force a seperation but Kushida has the dominant position.

Richmond can't break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kushida pulls guard successfully.
Kushida trying to keep a closed guard but Richmond is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Richmond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Richmond is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kushida has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Richmond is looking to defend but Kushida has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Richmond! Kushida pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Richmond taps out and this one is all over!
