PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terence Weiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Borzov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weiss throws a body punch but Borzov moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Borzov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Weiss is looking to counter punch.
A combination from Borzov does no damage.
Weiss scores with a hook.

It looks like Igor Borzov has been cut.
Weiss catches Borzov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Weiss darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Borzov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Borzov throws a head kick that misses.
Weiss moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Nice takedown defense from Weiss. No joy for Borzov on that attempt.
Borzov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Borzov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That has opened up Igor Borzov's cut even more.
A shot to the liver by Weiss. Beautiful body shot.
Borzov looks winded!
Borzov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Borzov walks straight into a right hand from Weiss - that's dropped him! Weiss jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Borzov from any more punishment! Borzov complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
