The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobb shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cobb takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Williams moves into the clinch successfully.
Williams working hard to break the clinch.
Williams wants to get back to striking at distance but Cobb won't allow it.

Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Williams takes the fight into the clinch.
Williams tries to circle away but Cobb has him pinned against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cobb keeps control of Williams as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A clash of legs there as Cobb blocks the low kick.
Cobb wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams misses with a double jab.
Williams will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cobb.

Williams drops Cobb with a beautiful combination! Cobb stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Williams is looking for the KO!

Cobb is rocked!

It looks like Spencer Cobb has been cut.
Cobb loses concentration momentarily and Williams pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Cobb crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Williams finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Sam Williams opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
