Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ligambi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Pisto to counter with a crisp jab.
Ligambi misses with a takedown
and Pisto counters with a straight right hand.
Ligambi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pisto quickly recovers to half guard.
Ligambi not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Pisto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ligambi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pisto can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ligambi cracks Pisto with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ligambi breaks from Pisto's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Pisto is still in real trouble! Can Ligambi finish him?
Pisto wants to control but Ligambi is having none of it.
Pisto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Ligambi postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Pisto in real trouble here! The ref calls for Pisto to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
