The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Ubereem misses.

El Parton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ubereem, pushing him back against the cage.

Ubereem is looking for a triangle here but El Parton uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
El Parton grinds an elbow into Ubereem's temple.
El Parton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ubereem keeps working.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ubereem is trying to improve his position.

Ubereem definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
El Parton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ubereem keeps working.

El Parton creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

El Parton stands up and beckons Ubereem to his feet.
Ubereem displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from El Parton.

El Parton moves into the clinch.

Ubereem jumps guard and drags El Parton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ubereem has his foot on El Parton's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. El Parton works his way back into a safe position though.

El Parton got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ubereem has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, El Parton has managed to get both his arms back between Ubereem's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
El Parton has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ubereem is proving hard to escape from.

Ubereem looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but El Parton is defending well. Ubereem quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! El Parton has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ubereem celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
