Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romulus Veres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marius Wieneke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wieneke has chosen Satyricon - K.I.N.G as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Romulus Veres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marius Wieneke!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veres lands with a right hand.
Veres has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wieneke finds it's way round the side to connect with Veres's head.
Veres throws a head kick but Wieneke moves out of range.
Wieneke lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Veres has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Veres there as he acknowledges the shot.
Veres dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wieneke. That did some damage!
Wieneke throws a right hand that misses
and Veres counters with an outside leg kick.
Veres jabs Wieneke right on the nose. Wieneke blinks but takes it well.
Veres fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wieneke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Veres scores with the left hand. Wieneke knows he should have avoided that one.
Veres looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A thudding body kick lands there by Veres!
Wieneke blocks a head kick by Veres.
Veres is looking to clinch but Wieneke is avoiding it.
Veres steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wieneke.
Veres throws a head kick but Wieneke moves out of range.
Wieneke misses with a kick to the body.
Veres was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Wieneke lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Romulus Veres has been cut.
Wieneke misses with a series of wild punches.
Wieneke misses with a straight left.
Veres fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wieneke manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Veres thuds a left hand into Wieneke's body.
A head kick misses from Wieneke.

Wieneke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A big right from Wieneke misses.
Veres jabs at Wieneke's body.
Wieneke looks to land a combination but Veres avoids it well.
Wieneke has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Wieneke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Veres counters with a right hand to the body.
Wieneke scores with a decent looking hook.
Veres misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wieneke throws a looping overhand right but Veres ducks down to avoid it.
Veres lands a nice shot that snaps Wieneke's head back.
Romulus Veres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Veres cracks Wieneke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Veres avoids the head kick by Wieneke.
Wieneke throws a left and a right that both miss
and Veres counters with a nice uppercut.

Wieneke is rocked!
Veres shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Wieneke takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Veres sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Wieneke bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
