Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dope Boi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Cajellon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dope Boi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Cajellon!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cajellon tries to clinch up but Boi circles away and keeps his distance.
Boi looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

and Boi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cajellon's guard.
Cajellon has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Boi is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cajellon.

Boi stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Cajellon to get to his feet.
Boi sizes up Cajellon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Boi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cajellon was covering up waiting for the punch and Boi finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cajellon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Boi controls the pace.
Boi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Cajellon has his foot on Boi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Boi works his way back into a safe position though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Boi has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Cajellon is on him like a limpet, forcing Boi back against the cage.
Boi turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Boi manages to end up in side control.

Boi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cajellon walks away with a smile on his face. Boi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Boi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Boi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Cajellon is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Boi is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Boi wants to finish this one by submission but Cajellon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Boi.

Dope Boi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Boi sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Boi is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Cajellon is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Boi gets his way!

Boi slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
