Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alessio Correha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Correha's calf.
Correha moves to clinch but Johnson breaks away
and Johnson counters with a stiff right hand.
Johnson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Correha tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.

Johnson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Correha, pushing him back against the cage.
Correha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Johnson smiles and moves away.

Johnson instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson has a couple of punches blocked by Correha.
Johnson lands a shot to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Johnson.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Correha pulls guard successfully.
Correha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Johnson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Correha has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Correha is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Johnson is posturing up here but Correha has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Johnson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Johnson has to tap! Slick submission there by Correha!
